The Indigenous Nurses Aotearoa Conference was held on 7 and 8 August at Eden Park.
The conference was hosted by Te Rūnanga o Aotearoa, NZNO, as part of the Hui ā-Tau which was held in Tāmaki Makaurau from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 August 2015.
The conference day was open to all Nurses and Kaimahi Hauora including non Te Rūnanga members.
The second Indigenous Nurses conference was a huge success with over 250 indigenous nursing leaders attending. It provided Māori members from around the country the opportunity to hui and network with a range of health professionals and share their stories about Māori nursing, Māori health, and whānau ora.
The theme Our Health, Our Right: Kia Rangatira te Tu was well covered by high calibre speakers.
