Livestreaming

The Minister’s opening speech on 18 September will be livestreamed and recorded. A link will be added to the website prior to AGM day. No other sessions will be livestreamed.

Registration desk

The registration desk will open from 8:30am on Wednesday, 18 September and from 8:00am on Thursday 19 September. The NZNO registration desk will be staffed during the breaks throughout the AGM and Conference days, and will be your best place to get information and updates. 

Parking at the venue

Parking is available at Te Papa (across the road from Takina). There is no discount this year, you will need to pay the full-day rate. More information about parking at the venue can be found on Te Papa's website.

Mobile devices and internet

WIFI will be available at the venue. A charging station will be available.

Please bring your own charging cables, as we cannot guarantee what will be available at the time.

Slido

NZNO is using slido as the audience interaction app. Tech assistance will be available at the event. 

Please ensure that you install the Slido app onto your device prior to the event:

Expense claims

  • Expense Claim forms will be available from the Registration desk.
  • Original GST invoices/receipts and Expense Claim forms are required.
  • If you wish to claim an expense, please request a full GST invoice/receipt..

Flights (if applicable)

You will receive your flight itinerary via separate email, directly from Tandem Travel. Please check the itinerary, and if you wish to make any changes please contact Tandem Travel on 0800 747 020 or conferenceandevents@tandemtravel.co.nz - the cost of any change will be the responsibility of the traveller. 

Flights are booked as Seat + Bag.

Airport transfers and luggage

A staff member will meet you on 18 September at the luggage claim area, ground floor of Airport, and direct you to the buses.

If you are flying into Wellington on Wednesday morning, please clearly label your luggage with your name and the hotel you will be staying at (refer accommodation below). The bus will drop you at Takina, then take your luggage to your hotel.

On 19 September, your luggage will be collected from your hotel and taken to the airport. Buses will departed from Takina after conference and take you to the airport where you can collect your luggage.

If you departing before the end of conference, please bring your luggage with you to Takina.

Accommodation (if applicable)

In early September you will receive your hotel details and the name of your room buddy, if you have chosen to twin share a room. We envisage you will walk to and from your hotel each day to Takina.

Special diets and accessibility

Please make sure that you note any special dietary requirements or allergies in your registration information.  Likewise, if you need a hand with accessibility, let us know so that we can make sure we're standing by to assist.
