This grant is available to Registered Nurses, Registered Midwives, Enrolled Nurses, and undergraduate students of Nursing or Midwifery.
The course of study or research must be relevant to the practice of nursing or midwifery in New Zealand and contribution to nursing/midwifery/healthcare in New Zealand must be demonstrated.
Up to $7,300 is offered for the current grant year.
NERF Grants Assessment Committee
Please note that the NERF Grants Assessment Committee requires you to answer all questions in full, to help them fairly distribute the monies available.
You will be notified of the outcome the week following the NERF Assessment Committee meetings. If you are successful, you will be asked to supply your bank account number. The decision of the Committee is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
How to complete this form
- This is a very long form, with many sections.

- When you have all your a) written answers, b) information and c) files ready to load into the form, then you are ready to go.
- It will probably take you 15-30 minutes just to type, and copy and paste your text answers in, and to also upload the various files required.
