NZNO is committed to the representation of members and the promotion of nursing and midwifery. NZNO provides professional leadership and advice in a range of areas.

NZNO maintains a number of international relationships and affiliations with relevant nursing and health groups including the International Council of Nurses, the Australian Nurses and Midwifery Federation and the South Pacific Nurses Forum. Similarly, NZNO Colleges and Sections and individual staff members maintain other important and strategic relationships. This document outlines NZNO’s position on international relationships and affiliations and provides guidance for members and staff on establishing and maintaining these.
