NZNO is committed to the representation of members and the promotion of nursing and midwifery. NZNO provides professional leadership and advice in a range of areas.

The Standing Orders Guideline has been developed in consultation with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and the Office of the Chief Nurse at the Ministry of Health. The guideline is designed to provide clarity around some of the common terminology used with standing orders, outline the implications for nursing practice and provide guidance on the practicalities of standing order usage.

All comments and feedback are warmly welcomed no matter how small or large and please forward to your members as appropriate.
