NZNO is a member-led organisation committed to the representation the interests of members and the promotion of nursing and midwifery. NZNO provides professional leadership and advice in a range of areas relevant to nurses and nursing practice.

We have updated our guidelines regarding obligations in a pandemic or disaster and we welcome your feedback on this new document. The new requirements under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2016 have been included along with information on disaster preparedness for individuals and organisations.

We are seeking your feedback on the guidelines and invite you to please forward this to Michelle Ryder-Lewis by Thursday October 20th at micheller@nzno.org.nz.
