Te Rūnanga o Aotearoa

Te Rūnanga o Aotearoa (Te Rūnanga), alongside our Te Tiriti o Waitangi partner, the New Zealand Nurses Organisation (NZNO), represents our Māori health professional members.

Our aim is to enhance the health and wellbeing of all people of Aotearoa New Zealand and we are united with members in their professional and industrial aspirations to achieve a safe, sustainable and accessible system of public health care for all New Zealanders.

Te Rūnanga membership comprises over 4,000 nurses (nurse practitioners, registered, enrolled and student nurses), midwives; kaimahi hauora, health care assistants and allied health professionals.
