PAST EVENTS

2024 Mental Health Nurses Section Forum - cancelled due to lack of registrations

Date and time: Friday 9 August 2024, 12.30 - 4.00pm
Venue: Ko Awatea Centre, Middlemore Hospital, Counties Manukau

The focus of this year's forum is a mixture of topics relevant to mental health nurses and other mental health clinicians from a practice and workplace perspective.

Speakers

  • Dr Zoe Port PhD, BBS (Hons) is a lecturer at Massey University’s School of Management and Co-Director of Healthy Work Group.  Among her interests are workplace wellbeing and the psycho-social risks within workplaces.  Included in Zoe’s research is inquiry into Community Mental Health & Addictions.
  • Linda Bowden BHSc, (OT), MHSc is a PhD candidate at the Dept of Psychological Medicine at Auckland University. Among her interests are Clinical Supervision and Suicide prevention projects.         
  • Rosaline Fuata'I is a District Inspector for Counties Manukau.
